Arriva launches new Airlink bus route
Arriva, one of the region's largest bus operators, is launchinga brand new, express bus service from Manchester to Liverpool JohnLennon Airport as part of its expanding AirLink network.
From October 22, the AirLink 700 service will operate a directlink from Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station to the airport forthe first time. Operating every hour, the route will also stop atSackville Street (Manchester), Salford, Eccles and BurtonwoodServices.

The Airport has been pushing for such a service forsome time and I am therefore delighted that Arriva are to startoperations to provide this important link, particularly followingthe recent success of their similar Liverpool City centreservice.
The AirLink 700 service will run every day of the year (exceptChristmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day) from early morninguntil late at night. There will be a flat rate of £5(10€) for adults and £2.50 (5€) for children.
