Arriva north east delighted to be supporting great north ambulance’s great work

The Great North Air Ambulance has launched a fundraisingcampaign aimed at encouraging people to contribute just £2 aweek to support the air ambulance services based on Teesside and atBlyth, and to try to raise enough funds to start a new servicebased at Cumbria .

Arriva is supporting their campaign through providing freeposter sites on the inside of all buses and through carrying stocksof leaflets detailing how to set up a fundraising gift, at each ofits travel centres. In addition, employees are being asked to thinkabout donating the proceeds of any fundraising activities to theair ambulance service.

The Great North Air Ambulance servicedoes such sterling work both treating the injured and ensuring theyreceive timely hospital care that we were delighted to be able tosupport them by promoting their £2 a week fundraisingcampaign.
