Gillian Singh joins Arriva UK Bus in Senior Marketing role

Arriva has appointed widely-respected marketing expert Gillian Singh as Marketing and New Product Development Director of its UK Bus Division.

Reporting to Finance and Commercial Director – UK Bus, Peter Telford, Singh will manage the transport operator’s UK Bus central marketing, NPD and customer services teams – working closely with Arriva’s regional marketing directors.

She will focus on a variety of strategic commercial activity, including smart ticketing, the improvement of customer data and insight, and pushing Arriva’s plans to drive sustainable passenger growth in the UK bus market.

Before her appointment Singh, who has held a variety of senior marketing roles in the retail, financial services, home shopping and transport sectors, had taken on the role on a temporary basis. Between 2008 and 2014 she was group marketing director of the Go-Ahead Group.
