Major investment in Inchinnan leads to head office relocation

Arriva Scotland West has made a £250,000 investmentimproving and developing facilities at its Inchinnan depot.Engineering, office and drivers' areas have all benefited from theinvestment – and new disabled facilities have been introduced.

Arriva Scotland West's director and general manager, Ian Craig,said:

The investment we have made in Inchinnan is going tobenefit all our employees. Changes to rest areas means that drivershave a more pleasant environment to spend break times in, newinspection pits mean engineering work can be undertaken moreefficiently, and by relocating, administrative and managementfunctions we can now link even more closely with the day to dayoperation of local bus services.

Arriva Scotland West operates local bus services in Paisley,Glasgow and across Renfrewshire. The Inchinnan depot houses 82buses, operates 15 services and has 212 employees based at thissite.
