Rainbow’s walk of life gets a helping hand from Arriva midlands

Arriva Midlands is supplying two buses to transport walkers whoare taking part in the Red Shoes Walk of Life, on Sunday 8 June2003 in order to raise funds for Rainbows Childrens' Hospice

It is hoped that the walk will raise much-needed funds andincrease awareness of the charity's work. Arriva Midlands's role isto support the fundraisers while they complete the exhausting15-mile walk throughout the County.

Event co-ordinator Sarah Staines said:

Rainbows is now almost nine years old and this year wehave to raise £1.6 million. As we continue to develop, tomeet the needs of so many children and their families the financialpressure is as great as ever. This event is so important to all atRainbows.
