Stuart Cockburn joins Arriva as Strategy and Development Director

Stuart will be a member of the Executive Committee and will be responsible for strategy, business development and asset management. He will lead the development and delivery of Arriva’s strategy and accelerate growth through the development of new markets and technology. He will also lead the development of a group-wide asset management strategy to realise cost benefits throughout Arriva.

Stuart has extensive UK and international experience gained from working with both blue-chip and mid-market companies in a range of senior roles, which include his most recent role at the broadcasting and telecoms company Arqiva, as well as Cable & Wireless, and the strategy consulting firm Booz & Company.

He has delivered strategic and transformational change in industries facing new growth opportunities and disruptive change, and has led growth strategies across both Arqiva and other international organisations.
