Arriva appoints Managing Director - Italy

Marco Piuri has been appointed to the role of Managing Director,Arriva Italy with effect from 1 June 2008.

Cesare Salerno, current Managing Director, Arriva Italy, hasdecided to retire after leading Arriva’s significantdevelopment in Italy since its first market entry in 2002.Cesare has agreed to continue to support the business, in aconsultancy role reporting to Marco.

Marco Piuri joins Arriva from Ferrovie Nord Milano, where he hasworked for the last 10 years within strategic development, generalmanagement and Managing Director roles.
