Arriva Italia acquires remaining shares of Cremona bus operator KM SpA

Arriva Italia has announced it has acquired a further 51 per cent stake in Cremona bus operator, KM SpA.

Arriva now owns 100 per cent of the company which has a fleet of 100 buses and over 110 employees. Originally founded in 2001, KM SpA operates urban and inter-urban bus services in and around the city of Cremona.

Leopoldo Montanari, managing director of Arriva Italia, said: “We are very proud to confirm that we now have full ownership of KM SpA and it underlines Arriva’s commitment to the area of Cremona and our positive relations with the local authorities.

“We are ready to provide Cremona, a capital of music and art, with the most innovative mobility solutions and the development of even more sustainable transport services.”

Arriva has over 3,400 employees in Italy and a fleet of 2,300 buses.
