Launch of new IC Bus service from Dusseldorf to Antwerp via Eindhoven

Deutsche Bahn (DB), in conjunction with Arriva, will launch a new long-distance IC Bus service on 23 June from Germany to Belgium, via the Netherlands.

The new route, which will run from Dusseldorf to Antwerp, via Eindhoven, will be operated jointly by Arriva and DB Long-Distance and will see three departures and arrivals each day as part of the service which will give passengers new journey opportunities between the three cities.

A fleet of IC Bus-branded double-deck coaches will operate on the new cross-border service and will boast a variety of features for passengers including air conditioning, free wifi, power sockets and generous leg room.

The service integrates with existing DB rail links and ticketing is part of the transport provider’s extensive sales and services network with prices for a single journey starting at EUR 14. Discounts will also be available to BhanCard holders and children under 15 can travel free with a parent or guardian.

Timetable and ticketing information is available through Deutsche Bahn's website. Tickets are also available from DB ticket machines, DB travel centres and through authorised agents in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
