Love is in the air… and on the buses too!

Who would have thought that the Arriva bus depot in Jesmondwould be the setting for true love to blossom?

One blissfully happy couple, Barry Addis and Michelle Mitcheson,owe working together at the depot for their meeting and developinga relationship which is set to lead to marriage.

Barry is a bus driver at the depot and has worked there for overfive years; Michelle is a relief driving instructor and has workedfor Arriva Northumbria for over 11 years. Barry proposed toMichelle at the depot in front of hundreds of colleagues back inNovember 2002.
