New appointment at Arriva Scotland West

Arriva UK Regions has appointed Liz Esnouf as the new directorand general manager of Arriva Scotland West.

Liz joined Arriva in 2003 as commercial director at Arriva NorthEast. Her previous role was as business development manager atBlackpool Transport Services. She has had a wide and varied careerworking in museums, further education and transport.

In her new role, she will report directly to Mike Cooper,managing director of Arriva UK Regions. She will assume bothfinancial and operational accountability for Arriva Scotland Westfrom January 2007 and will focus on the strategic direction of thebusiness.

Liz will also retain commercial accountabilities at Arriva NorthEast, working closely with the business's area managers.
