Social media is just the ticket for Arriva graduate recruitment

Arriva plc, one of the largest providers of passenger transportin Europe, has embraced social media to help engage and recruitquality graduates. The company’s presence on Facebook andTwitter and a newly launched graduate blog will help the search forgraduates with the potential to become future senior managers atArriva.

The transport group, which employs more than 47,500 peopleacross 12 countries, recruits graduates for its general managementand engineering management programmes for placements in the UK andmainland Europe.

The dialogue we can build up with potential candidatesthrough social media will mean people have a much betterunderstanding of what we do, the opportunities and culture atArriva, and what we expect of our future managers.

The Arriva graduate programme covers of a mix of on andoff-the-job training, mentor coaching and regular performance anddevelopment reviews. The programme equips graduates with the skillsand experience to become Arriva managers.
