Statement regarding Keolis SA ("Keolis")

Further to its announcement regarding Keolis SA ("Keolis") on 28January 2010, Arriva confirms that exploratory preliminarydiscussions took place with Société Nationale desChemins de fer Français (“SNCF”) regarding thepossible contribution of all or part of the Keolis transportbusiness into Arriva. No agreement was reached and all discussionshave now ceased.
