Arriva hosted the recently appointed Buses Minister, Jesse Norman MP, at its depot in Brixton on Monday 3 July to mark the launch of ‘Catch the Bus Week’.

Arriva, one of Europe’s largest transport companies, announced today (15 June 2017) that David Brown has been appointed as Managing Director of Arriva Rail North Ltd which operates the Northern rail franchise. David, who is currently Chief Executive at Transport for the North, will take up his role at Arriva during September and will succeed Alan Chaplin who has been Acting Managing Director since February.

Arriva UK Bus is gearing up for the first National Clean Air Day on 15th June, a nationwide initiative organised by the charity ‘Global Action Plan’ to raise awareness of air pollution issues and encourage the public to take collective action to improve air quality.
